Our Team
Under the mission statement and principles of Bernhard Peters, two-time field hockey world champion as well as former Director of Sport at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Hamburger Sport-Verein, our founding team is completed by Ole Jan Kappmeier and Jan Peters. Together, we combine different starting points, interdisciplinary foundations and differentiated core competencies to always deliver maximum success to our partners.
Bernhard Peters
For many years, Bernhard Peters successfully coached the national field hockey team and won two world championship titles with the men’s team. From 2006 onwards, Bernhard worked in professional soccer as Director of Sport at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Hamburger SV, working daily on and off the pitch with athletes, coaches and experts to implement values, content guidelines and strategic processes as the core of sustainable success.
Ole Jan Kappmeier
Ole studied sports science and is involved in the topics of identity and strategy development of sports clubs and federations on and off the pitch. In his previous job as project coordinator for sports at Hamburger SV, he was responsible for strategic and conceptual alignment as well as for topics related to digitalization, among other things. As an expert, he has already lectured for the German Basketball Federation, the German Volleyball Association and companies such as SAP, among others.
Jan Peters
Jan completed his business studies at the HSBA in Hamburg and was subsequently responsible for the strategic conception and implementation of the HYROX fitness event series as Head of Operations at Upsolut Sports.
For the Spanish field hockey federation RFEH he was responsible as “Director Events” for all national and international events including the World Field Hockey Championship in Barcelona.
Tilman Huber
Tilman has been working in the field of competitive sports since 2012. Initially, as a dual student at HSV Fußball AG, Tilman was able to get to know all the departments of a professional soccer club, before he accompanied the internationalization of HSV from 2015 to 2019 after successfully completing his business administration studies at the HSBA and a stay abroad in Argentina. During this time, Tilman also successfully completed his Master’s degree in Sports Management at the University of Bayreuth. Since 2020, Tilman has now been working in the team of BPTC Sports and from this role became Managing Director of HPSI.
Eike Teibl
Eike completed his Bachelor of Science in “Sports Engineering” in 2016 and spent the following two years studying for a Master’s degree in “Human Movement Science”. As co-coach of the U15 of Chemnitzer FC from 2014 to 2017, he gained early coaching experience and was able to successfully apply content learned during his studies in practice. Afterwards, Eike moved to Mainz, where he first completed an internship in the field of “Athletics, Rehab and Sports Science” at 1. FSV Mainz 05 e.V. for 6 months and then became assistant to the junior head coach and co-coach of the U16. Since 2021 he acted as co-coach / analysis of the U19 and coordinator game analysis at FSV and has sustainably contributed to the athletic, tactical and personal development of the players. At the HPSI, Eike is responsible for all soccer-specific content.
Finn Meinecke
Finn is the training manager of our HPSI Academy and is responsible for the content design of the digital learning offerings. Finn has been a children’s tennis coach for more than 10 years and has been involved in tennis as a competitive sport for more than 20 years. Through tennis, Finn received a scholarship to the University of South Florida, and in the process completed his Bachelor’s degree in International Management. Finn then completed a Master’s degree in Sustainability & Management in his hometown of Hamburg, Germany. After three years in strategy and management consulting, Finn has now returned to the world of sports.
