BPTC

As a sports strategy consultancy, we accompany clubs and federations in competitive sports on their way to maximum sporting success in the development of teams and talents.

Approach

BPTC puts sports at the center of an organization. With a clear focus on our core competence in sports and a medium to long-term strategy, we ensure that clubs and federations in the fast-moving world of sports do not lose sight of the strategic aspects that lay the foundation for long-lasting success. Our goal is to support the sporting management, not as a conventional consultant, but rather as a proactive companion, critical sparring partner and provider of ideas for the strategic direction of the club. In this way, we create the conditions for continuous sporting development and give the club’s management the space it needs to work successfully.

Strategy Model

Our strategy model structures the sporting departments into six core areas. In each of these areas, we observe, challenge, and evaluate work procedures, develop joint ideas to enhance processes, and set up new innovative routines. We focus on the medium to long-term development of all sporting structures and processes to ensure sustainable success.

What are the concrete goals for the club? What are the (partial) goals for the different sporting areas of the club ? What could an adapted strategy for achieving the goals look like? With these initial questions, we approach the BPTC strategy model in terms of sporting content in order to constantly focus on the medium-term development of the club or federation.

Playing Identity:

How do we want to play and how can we develop a training concept that adapts and instills this into each age group?

Staff Planning:

How do we find, recruit and train coaches and experts in line with our goals?

Talent Development & Squad Planning:

How do we optimally develop our squad, establish a scouting structure and promote our top talents?

Values & Personality:

What does the organization stand for internally and externally? What values do we live in our daily actions?

Development & Innovation:

What do innovative developments look like in the near future and how can we use them to gain a competitive advantage?

Infrastructure:

Does the infrastructure meet our goals and strategy? How do we remain competitive in the future?

Style-of-Play:

How do we want to play and how can we adapt our training framework accordingly in all age groups?

Staff planning:

How do we develop and find coaches and experts to achieve our goals together?

Talent development & squad planning:

Talent vs. experience; training vs. scouting? Which players are the right ones and how do we set up the team in a way that fosters our identity and success?

Values & Personality:

What does the club stand for internally and externally? What values do we live by every day?

Development & Innovation:

What are the developments in sports in the coming years and how can we gain a competitive advantage?

High-Performance Infrastructure:

Is the infrastructure in line with our goals and strategy? What will we need in the future to remain competitive?
