Founded in 2020 under the leadership of Bernhard Peters, two-times field hockey world champion as coach and former sporting director at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Hamburger Sport-Verein, BPTC has established itself as a leading sports consultancy.
Ole Jan Kappmeier, former sports director of Aalborg BK, and Jan Peters, multiple entrepreneur and current chairman of the supervisory board of Aalborg BK, are also part of the BPTC management team as founders and managing partners. With the ideal combination of entrepreneurial know-how, sports science and strategic expertise, they form a perfect management team with extensive experience in international sport.
Our mission at BPTC is to enable ‘high performance’ through customised strategic advice and personnel development for clubs, federations and coaches.
Strategic Advisory
The core of our advisory services is the proven BPTC strategy model, which covers all relevant aspects of modern football operations. Our holistic approach aims to put clubs and federations on course for long-term sporting and economic success.
In concrete terms, this means that we work together with the supervisory bodies, owners and investors, management, sports directors or youth development departments to address medium-term issues that are often insufficiently covered or not covered at all in the emotional and intensive day-to-day business, but are essential for further development.
In targeted cooperation with our project partners, we identify optimisation potential in defined departmental, age and process areas, which we think ahead for the club, structure and actively support during implementation.In some cases, collaborations are designed to be very holistic, while in other cases they provide short-term support for specific projects.
